If a company wants to get input from your target market, buying preferences, views and idea, they order a consumer survey
(or targeted) marketing research company.
In most cases these studies are carried out if the company wants to launch a new product or are interested in improving the existing one.
They must know what their customers think, feel, love or hatred of their products or brand names and customer feedback is very important.
